My TOP TEN blushes!

In my opinion, blushes are the second most essential part of your makeup, after foundation of course. The right choice of blush has the power to: sculpt your face structure, add the "natural" pink flush, give you a sun-kissed glow, highlight your cheekbones. Here's a little swatch show of my favorite top ten high end blushes. Some of them look similar on camera, but in reality & esp. on face- they look WAY different.

1) Well Dressed by MAC
A very cool powder pink Satin finish. Not highly pigmented which is good for minimal & more natural look. The Satin finish adds a sheen to the face & makes every face & skin color a healthy boost.

2) Pinch O' Peach by MAC

If I was to wear just one blush every day then I'd definitely pick this. I'm a huge of fan of peaches & corals. This is the PERFECT blend of peach and pink & also my favorite MAC blush. Gives a very warm peachy-pinkish effect with its sheertone finish. Its well pigmented so a little goes a long way!

3) Melba by MAC

I was torn between Melba & Peaches. Melba is a matte finish & softer version of Peaches. Its well pigmented & lasts for a reasonable amount of time. Its a good switch from your usual pinks!

4) Breath of Plum by MAC

Ever since I saw Nina Dobrev sport plum cheeks on one of the red carpet events I knew I have to have a plum blush! My initial review of it would have been totally different because being a very pigmented & darker shade it was very difficult to work with but once you get around with it, its one of the most beautiful plummy colors I've ever used.  Its definitely a must-have for someone who likes to switch up colors!

5) Prism by MAC

A muted pinkish brown, matte finish. Its again a very beautiful color- I mainly use it for minimal contouring & its great for slenderizing the face. When I don't use it for contour I use it as a plain blush & it gives me the perfect sun kissed look! It won me over with its matte finish (Tip: You should NEVER  use anything shimmery for contouring)

6) Posey by MAC

Warm dusty blend of pinks and peaches. What I love about this cream blush is it gives you the exact shade that you want, you can be too dramatic or too natural. Its not as creamy as what Bobbi Brown & NARS make, which makes application tricky using just hands- so if you throw it in your purse make sure to throw a blush brush or a duo fibre brush with it.

7) Orgasm by NARS

The mixing of colors in Orgasm amazes me. Not so much of a day wear because of its gold shimmer but a beautiful choice for a night out. Its no surprise that Orgasm is an award winning blush!

8) Penny Lane by NARS

Best cream blush I've used so far! Super creamy & velvety finish. I would give it a 10/10, from longevity to the pale pink color to easy application to the texture. Its brilliance in a box.

9) Dollface by Tarte

A beautiful sheer soft pink stain with the most delicious smell ever. Makes you look naturally flushed. The texture is hydrating as it contains pure water. Could come off as sticky but the gel absorbs into the skin & leaves a sheen behind.

10) Cabo Coral by Bobbi Brown

Perfect coral cream blush. This blush stays more in my go to makeup bag than on my dresser. Its not as creamy as Penny Lane but not as thick as Posey. It applies well using just fingers too. I like the color range of Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge & cannot wait to try more of them out.

Just Release Me™

This remover does wonders, I am so impressed by Philosophy. Not only did it take every bit of the makeup off my face, it left my face feeling so smooth and clean (Yes, it is an eye-makeup remover but its perfectly alright to use it on your face). I wore CoverGirl LashBlast Waterproof mascara with L'Oreal Voluminous and after using Just Release Me™ you could not even tell if I had any makeup on. A little goes a long way, I just dab it twice on the cotton pad and it gets your full face and one eye and then you move on to using a clean cotton pad to do your other eye. I've had this bottle for almost six months now & I still have half of it left. Getting a generous 180 ml for $18 is pretty good bargain!

Gimme some lip!

I had been trying to get my hands on the Tarte LipSurgence ever since they came out. So I finally got a few in matte finish (Although, I'm not a big fan of matte finishes on my lips- MAC's Please Me makes me look completely washed out) and my opinion has completely changed on matte finishes or is it just Tarte? Tarte's LipSurgence™ Natural Matte Lip Tints are so beautiful! These are creamy, pigmented and have a velvety finish. The colors that I got are really amazing, Hope is my all time favorite color, I literally wear it every single day that I go out & its sad that I'm running out of it so quickly. LipSurgence are so far my favorite lipsticks!

                                          Exposed - Pinkish brown.

                                          Swatches (L-R): Hope and Exposed

                                          Hope - Warm pink

Pros: Smells organic, Long-lasting, beautiful warm colors, hydrating.
Cons: Runs out quicker than your regular lipstick (because of its soft and creamy texture). Fall a bit on the pricier side.
